In their day jobs, these singers include an innkeeper, a grocer, a teacher, and a nurse in the
town of Petite-Vallée in Gaspésie, well known for the ‘Festival en Chanson’ since 25 years.
For six years they have been performing
together, singing original compositions
about the minor incidents and major
events that mark their lives as
townspeople.
Their show, « Les vraies gens » (« Real
People ») is a wonderful blend of
authenticity, folklore and conviviality,
celebrated in choral music that is full of
poetry. Let them transport you into the life
and music of the Petite-Vallée
microcosm, which will delight young and
old alike.
