In 1980, TAXI GIRL released two new wave titlles «Mannekin» (which became the name of their own label) and mainly the hit «Cherchez le garçon». Subsequently, they released the album Sepukku, with titles such as Les armées de la nuit and Le chant des enfants morts. Daniel Darc and Mirwais (in a duet) released then a few songs before both trying a solo career (in vain). Mirwais reappeared in 2000 producing Madonna’s last album.
