Carla Bruni was a huge success in 2003. Born in Turin in 1968, she became a super-model and has now succeeded in proving her singing and song writing talents. Produced by Louis Bertignac (he played guitar in a 80s’ band called Téléphone), this record offers twelve songs including « Raphaël », « Tout le monde » et a cover « La noyée » from Serge Gainsbourg. Hers ballads are about men, love and breakups, all dealt with in a delicate manner. This first album, with millions sold, is a real international success. It is the triumph of the heart and sensitivity over the body and appearances: On me dit que nos vies ne valent pas grand-chose / qu’elles passent en un instant comme fanent les roses...
