Claude M’Barali is born in Dakar (Senegal) on March 5, 1969. His parents immigrated from Tchad to Villeneuve Saint-Georges, one of the largest suburbs of Paris. After his first big hit « Bouge de là ! » in 1990 (on the compilation album « Rapattitude ») came the first album « Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo » in 1991, produced with DJ Jimmy Jay. His second album « Prose combat » was distributed in 1995 in more than 20 countries. The following records were « Paradisiaque » (1997) and a fourth CD (with no title) in 1998. The double album « Le tour de la question » is a compilation album of 25 songs, recorded live during a concert at L’Olympia in 1999. It was a very energetic performance with live musicians. This collection of rap compositions reminds us of the beginning of a young tagger called «S OAR ». Today he is qualified as a « master of word » or a modern urban poet. His work is studied in many grade schools.
