The 22nd annual Festival du Bois has, once again this year, had a very successful turn-out with thousands of visitors. Because of the great implication of volunteers and community involvement, the Festival organizers are proud of this successful edition held March 5 & 6 at Mackin Park, Maillardville-Coquitlam.

Many activities were organized prior to the Festival, such as the educational program which was held from January 24th to February 4th, 2011. More than 2600 students from different French programs and schools all over the Greater Vancouver region attended. Also, the exhibition “Earth’s dream, stone’s dream” from Catherine Tableau is still on at Place des Arts, until March 18th.

The nice weather, the great artistic talent from around Canada and beyond and, of course, the delicious and famous traditional food, all the ingredients were there to assure Festival du Bois was a huge success.

It’s a « rendez-vous » in March 2012 for the 23rd annual Festival du Bois!
