Vancouver Francophone Coup de Coeur 2006

8 October 2006
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Coup de coeur francophone and its 12th season in Vancouver (Canada), Le Centre invites you to discover a young singer whose star is on the rise and to revisit some of the great names of French music with two talented Francophone performers!

Does the name of Joe Dassin make you feel like humming « Les ChampsÉlysées » or « L’Eté Indien »? Then you will be glad to hear the renditions of these favourites sung by Raphaël Torr, a singer who has adopted Quebec as his home. The show « In Praise of Joe Dassin » has been such a great hit that we decided to bring it to Vancouver. Raphaël Torr first appeared on stage at the age of 15 and since then, he has given over 4000 concerts.
