Saule in Vancouver Coup de Coeur Francophone 2007

18 November 2007
Belgian artist Saule will perform at the last concert of The Vancouver Coup de Coeur francophone.

Baptiste Lalieu, alias Saule, is a talented young Belgian singer and songwriter. Adept at a minimalist style that features acoustic guitar, his music also introduces other sounds that always give faithful expression to the atmosphere created by his lyrics. His music has been influenced by some of the great French and Belgian artists, like Georges Brassens and Jacques Higelin, but also by more recent performers like Tryo, Cali and Bénabar. A hit discovery on the francophone music scene in 2007, Saule has toured festivals in Europe and Quebec, bringing his musicianship and his talents as a story teller. Let’s give him a warm welcome in Vancouver! In return he is sure to give us a fabulous « Saulo » performance.

The first part of the concert will be ensured by Samuel Sixto. This young artist was nominated in the category best Francophone Recording to the Western Canadian music Award 2007 for his album Les Allumeurs de Rêves. Come to discover the universe of this Quebecer artist.
