On Sunday April 1st, S.O.B.’s welcomes internationally loved hip hop/R&B duo Les Nubians to the stage. The self-proclaimed « Afropean » sisters came into the public eye in 1999, when their U.S. debut, Princesses Nubiennes, became the most successful French-language album in more than a decade of Billboard Charts. Since then, the two sisters have traveled the world, soaking up the sounds of reggae, afro-beat and electronica, allowing each to influence their own music.

This blend of musical and cultural influences gave way to their latest album, One Step Forward and earned them a Grammy Nomination in 2004 for the song « J’veux d’la musique ». Although, the group sings in French, their smooth grooves and down-to-earth vibe can be felt in any language.

On Sunday, April 1st, the Les Nubians vibe will be felt by the entire audience at S.O.B.’s in NYC (USA).
