There are so many things to say and so many different ways to introduce Paris Combo...
We could talk about the cosmopolitan aspect of this group made up of virtuosos: Belle du Berry, author and singer, is from the Berry region, pianist and trumpeter David Lewis is Australian, Potzi the guitarist has gypsy connections, Mano the bass player and singer is from Madagascar, and François Jeannin, drummer and percussionist, is Parisian.
We can also stop and try to define their musical universe, which has been too quickly labeled "retro."
Without fanfare, the group has expanded its tours in the United States and Australia, where their albums are known and recognized, after their success on the stage and in recordings in France (their nomination in Victoires de la Musique, their triumph at the Olympia...).
And for their fourth album, they have recruited the sound engineer from the last two works by Tom Waits.
