...an intense instrumental sound where improviation and inspiration bring on spontanious stage performances of crafty song writing. with 10 years under their belt, les Païens are no easy band to define, jumping from dub to surf to jazz to funky rock; explosions of improvised and contrived musical madness. ....a Moncton NB band comprised of Marc Arsenault, Jean Surette, Denis Surette, Sébastien Michaud et Frédérick Hétu.

.... other than the many dates in Québec and eastern Canada, the band has also been busy playing in France (Paris, Amien, Douai and Cap Breton). With the release of their 3d CD Sphere, les Païens plan to share their brand of eastern jazz-rock with people all over.
